From her family inheritance and the influence of her brother Israel Galván (an artist who brings flamenco dancing to the forefront) .
In 1995, at the age of 15, she traveled to the United States for the first time with the San Francisco Flamenco Theater Company.

The Seville Flamenco Biennial deserves special attention for having hosted Pastora’s baile in all its editions since 1998.

Dorantes

Dorantes belongs to a  family that has given the world of Flamenco many well-known artists. In recent decades, son of Pedro Peña, grandson of Maria the Perrat, nephew of Juan Peña El Lebrijano, all have emerged from Dorantes’ family. He is also related to Fernanda and Bernarda de Utrera. This has not prevented Dorantes from making a proper name for himself in the world of Flamenco. Dorantes has become a Maestro with an instrument traditionally alien to the world of flamenco, that is the piano.  We must remember that until the 90’s it was unthinkable to use other instruments apart from the flamenco guitar, the cajón and castanets.
With a family tree steeped in cante jondo, this young Seville native has started a musical revolution in flamenco, raising the piano to prominence in a world where guitar is king. Thanks to his extraordinary improvisational sense and brilliant orchestrations, he has managed to reinvent the genre by incorporating the dreamy sensitivy of jazz.
Never before has a harp toured so many styles of this musical genre with a purely flamenco language: seguiriya, soleá, bulerías, alegrías, malagueñas, granainas, guajiras, rondeña, tientos, tangos … these are just some of the many flamenco styles that this Jerez woman plays on the harp. Both with her compositions and when arranging and performing, she leaves an exquisite mix to the listener’s delight: knowledge of the roots, childhood in the very flamenco Jerez, mastery of the compás and highly skilled hands that capture the most difficult and beautiful flamenco in this instrument. pure, resulting in a very sophisticated beauty.
Listening to this flamenco muse live is witnessing art at its best.
Her musical studies, which began at an early age and her enormous talent have led her to forge herself, creating a new language on the harp, which for the first time, sounds with a flamenco discourse, giving rise to the first source and reference of flamenco harp in the History of music.
